Immediately after allegations of voting fraud began at the end of the 2018 midterm election, the North Carolina Black Alliance assembled a taskforce of organizations io develop a plan of action to support of over 3,000 absentee voters.
In the midst of Charlotte’s NBA All-Star Weekend, the North Carolina Black Alliance and the Collective Education Fund held a reception and fundraiser dedicated to celebrating the outstanding leadership of Black women who serve on local, state, and national stages in various municipal and federal capacities.
