OUR State of Health: In Celebration of Mothers and Caregivers

Join us for a powerful two-day community-centered event focused on advancing health equity across North Carolina. This gathering is designed to bring together community members, advocates, and leaders for meaningful conversations about what’s working in our healthcare system, where gaps still exist, and how we can collectively advocate for lasting change.

On Friday evening, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the event consists of dinner and a panel discussion centered on supporting mothers and caregivers in accessing vital resources within their communities across the state. Guests will enjoy a shared meal catered by Hey Baker, Yes Chef while hearing local and state-level speakers who will offer insights into current healthcare challenges, ongoing policy efforts, and opportunities for community action.

On Saturday evening, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM, we’re holding a dynamic resource fair featuring local organizations, vendors, and service providers. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore available resources, connect with community partners, and participate in a day rooted in learning, empowerment, and reflection. The day will also include door prizes and kid-friendly activities, making it accessible and welcoming for families.
