Congressional Districts 1 & 3 Road to Fair Maps Town Hall Tour

North Carolina Black Alliance is teaming up with  Democracy NC, Common Cause NC, and NC Counts to launch the Congressional Districts 1 and 3 Road to Fair Maps Town Hall Tour. This town hall will break down what happened during the October redistricting process, how mid-decade redistricting was pushed through, who the key decision-makers were, and the role the North Carolina Supreme Court played in allowing these maps to move forward. The tour centers accountability and transparency, creating space for community members to speak honestly about the harms of gerrymandering, ask questions, share concerns, and chart a path forward for fair maps and real representation.

We hope you’ll join us at a town hall location near you.
