North Carolina Black Alliance is holding it's annual event series, Brunch and Ballots, in Fayetteville, November 2 at 11:00 a.m.
In North Carolina, large corporations have polluted our land, air, and water for decades, with forever chemicals and animal waste causing harmful health effects in Black communities. The film Dark Waters tells the story of a community fighting back against corporate environmental injustice. Join us for a screening of the film, followed by a guided discussion on its themes, the impact on our communities, recent changes, and actions we can take for meaningful change.
