NCBA Awarded Funding to Address Breastfeeding Disparities in Eastern NC

The North Carolina Black Alliance is proud to be one of 17 NC organizations to receive an award from Blue Cross NC to address issues causing disparities in labor and postpartum health care. Specifically, NCBA will address breastfeeding rates disparities in Eastern North Carolina as part of the award and coordinate with state and local institutions to support the development of more lactation consultants in Eastern NC.
