Who We Are
The North Carolina Black Alliance addresses policy and economic issues to enhance black communities by developing and promoting systemic policy change as well as youth and leadership development.
We also seek to collaborate with strategic partners to advance the work of those organizations and to enhance intentional collaboration with black constituencies.
The North Carolina Black Alliance (NCBA) is looking for an Access to Healthcare Fellow to help enhance internal and external capacity to track our organizational healthcare access and equity work and community movement.
Prior to NC Supreme Court’s decision on February 23 to reject the Congressional map, there was a strategic attack on Black elected officials, and it’s still ongoing.
The North Carolina Black Alliance is one of 17 NC organizations to receive funding from Blue Cross NC to address issues causing disparities in labor and postpartum health care.
