Triumph and Treason Trails Victory for Black Voters
Rev. Raphael Warnock’s senatorial win in Georgia on January 5 is a historic victory for Black political power and an affirmation for millions of Americans led by an impressive number of organizations mobilizing black and brown voters to the polls amid a pandemic.
Violence in the Form of Policy - EPA Rejects Petition
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rejected our joint petition to require essential health and environmental effects studies. Much like the violence we witnessed during the insurrection at our Nation’s capital, this violence in the form of policy overwhelmingly affects Black and BIPOC communities.

Time | talent | treasure
We are thankful for all the donors, supporters and volunteers who help us unleash our power to transform communities across North Carolina. Together we gave!
In 2020, we educated voters through an ever-changing election process, monitored voter intimidation across polling sites, and worked with partners to mitigate risks at the polls. We fought for a safe and fair election so that voters could have their voices heard and ballots counted. That’s why when you choose to support the NC Black Alliance on or before you join millions of people who choose to give back to the causes they believe in and help us continue to fight for our people.
